SSL Certificate Checker

See who issued a site's certificate, what it covers and when it expires.

SSL Certificate Checker

Enter the full URL, including https://.

How it works

Three steps, no friction.

  1. Step 1

    Submit a URL

Enter the page you want to audit and optionally tweak advanced settings.

  2. Step 2

    The page is fetched

The WebRul server requests the page, follows redirects, and reads the response headers and HTML.

  3. Step 3

    Actionable report

You get a scored report with pass / warn / fail checks, priority, why-it-matters context, and a suggested fix.

Benefits

Why teams choose WebRul.

  • Checks the live page exactly as a crawler receives it
  • Free, with no sign-up and no API key
  • Every finding comes with a suggested fix
  • Export the report as plain text or JSON

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How does the SSL Certificate Checker work?

You enter a URL, the WebRul server requests that public page the way a search-engine crawler would, and the response is analysed into pass / warning / fail checks. Nothing is stored — every run is independent.

Do I need an API key?

No. Everything works without an account or key. Speed tests use Google’s public PageSpeed Insights service, which can be briefly unavailable at busy times.

Which URLs can be checked?

Any public http or https page on the standard ports. Private, local and internal network addresses are refused, and requests are rate-limited to keep the service fair.

Can I export the report?

Yes — every run produces both a plain-text and a JSON report, ready to download, copy, or attach to a client deliverable.
