What kinds of images work best?

Photos with one clear main subject — a person, product, animal or object — that stands out from its background. Very busy scenes, or subjects the same color as the background, are harder.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The AI model is downloaded to your browser once and all processing happens on your own device.

Why is the transparent PNG large?

PNG stores every pixel without loss, so full-resolution cut-outs can be several megabytes. Choose WebP for a much smaller file that still supports transparency.
