Does this work on scanned PDFs?
No — this reads selectable text. For scanned/image-only PDFs, run OCR PDF first to add a text layer.
Are images carried over?
Not currently. This converts text content only — embedded images in the PDF aren't included in the output.
Will complex multi-column layouts convert cleanly?
Reading order and paragraph structure are preserved for typical documents; heavily multi-column or design-led layouts may reflow differently in Word.
