Where are my images processed?
Every compression runs in your browser — files never touch a server.
Will visual quality drop?
Lossless keeps every pixel intact. Lossy and Smart Auto keep images visually very close to the original while shrinking them, typically by 40–80%. If a file can’t be made smaller, you get the original back — never a bigger file.
Is there a size limit?
Up to 30 MB per file. Browser memory limits very large batches — split them if needed.
Does this produce true progressive JPEG?
Yes. Files are encoded with MozJPEG as real progressive JPEGs with optimised Huffman tables, so they are smaller and appear gradually while loading.
