PDF Tools

Unlock PDF

Remove password protection from a PDF you own.

Drop a password-protected PDF

PDF, application/pdf · up to 100 MB

You must know the password. Unlock PDF removes the password wrapper — it does not brute-force encryption.

Features

Built for real work.

Preserves quality

Removes the encryption wrapper without rerendering content.

Owner password aware

Also removes owner-level restrictions when the password unlocks it.

Local decryption

The password never leaves your browser.

How it works

Three steps, no friction.

  1. Step 1

    Upload

    Drop the encrypted PDF.

  2. Step 2

    Enter password

Provide the password you use to open the file.

  3. Step 3

    Download

Grab a clean, unencrypted copy of the PDF.

Benefits

Why teams choose WebRul.

  • Reuse an old protected PDF without re-typing the password every time
  • Prepare a document for downstream tools that reject encryption
  • Share a public copy of an internally protected file

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do you crack unknown passwords?

No. Unlock PDF only removes encryption when you supply the correct password. Attempting to guess passwords would be insecure — and illegal for files you don’t own.

Will the unlocked file lose any content?

No. Pages, text, images, and metadata are preserved. Only the encryption layer is stripped.
