FAQ
Questions, answered.
How does the HTTP Status Checker work?
The tool sends a request to the WebRul probe service, which fetches the target URL server-side, inspects the response, and returns a structured report. Nothing is stored — every run is stateless.
Do I need an API key?
No. The default probe covers HTTPS, headers, redirects, DNS, and metadata using free upstream services. Adding a PageSpeed API key unlocks Google Lighthouse scores.
Can I export the report?
Yes — every run produces both a plain-text and a JSON report, ready to download, copy, or attach to a client deliverable.
